Destination
Barong is probably the most famous dance, it is also another storytelling dance, telling the battle between good and evil. This Barong and Keris Dance (Dance of Possession) is a classic example of the Balinese way of portraying mythology, so that myth and history mix into one reality. We will watch this dance before visiting Kintamani . Balinese dance is famous all over the world and the Balinese themselves take it very seriously. Barong is the magical protector of the Balinese village. As & lord of the forest with a fantastic fanged mask and long mane, he is the opposite of Rangda the sorcerer, who rules the spirits of darkness, in an endless battle between good and evil.
Ubud has undergone a tremendous evolution. Traditionally another way of expressing religious and mythological ideas, Ubud painting has undergone a number of influences, including deep interactions with Western painters who came and lived in Bali. Perfect place to stop before going to Kintamani to visit some of the beautiful fine art galleries. Ubud became the center of art, welcoming famous artists such as Bonnet, Spies, Blanco, Snel, etc. Batuan village is not influenced by the west like in Ubud. Rock paintings are often dark, crammed representations of legendary scenes or themes from everyday life, strange animal monsters, and witches greeting people.
Kintamani Village is a village name in Bangli Regency, being the most visited place to see the stunning view of Mount Batur from Kintamani Village. We can see the beautiful scenery from Kintamani Village to illustrate the dynamic abundance of Mount Batur and the vast Lake Batur in a valley. It is set in a range of levels with a cool climate surrounding it. When we are in Kintamani, we will be able to see the rural zone close to the lake. We can see the stunning natural scenery of Penelokan, a combination of Mount Batur and a stretch of dark rock with Lake Batur and the blue caldera.
Tirta Empul Temple was built around a sacred spring in Tampak Siring. A great stop to visit this temple after visiting the volcano in Kintamani Village. For more than a thousand years, Balinese devotees have been attracted to Tirta Empul Temple whose sacred spring is said to have been created by Indra and has curative properties. The tradition continues almost unchanged at the temple today. For more than 1000 years, the temple and its two baths have been used by people for good health and prosperity due to the healing power of spring water. But the main attraction at Tirta Empul Temple is the rectangular pool carved out of stone, filled with koi and fed by holy springs via 12 fountains.
Goa Gajah Temple, also known as Goa Gajah Temple, is an ancient relic in the form of a cave that has high artistic and historical value. The last stop in the Kintamani Tour itinerary is visiting the elephant cave temple. Goa Gajah is one of the tourist destinations in Bali which is visited by many tourists every day. In this place, we will find other ancient relics such as ancient stone idols, douches, temples and others. Has a beautiful relief with a face shape that turns to the left. The word Goa Gajah is thought to have come from the word Lwa Gajah, the name of a temple or hermitage for Buddhist monks. Goa Gajah was rediscovered in 1923 and in 1954 the bathing pool in front of the cave was rediscovered, which was followed by restoration.
